Gamma Calibration Sources

  • Radionuclides are placed between 2 hot-sealed polyester foils approximately 125 μm thick each, then mounted in a plexiglass ring.
  • The radiological characteristics of the sources are measured with calibrated Nal scintillators or HPGe semi-conductors.
  • Available activity Levels: 0.11 uCi, 1.1 uCi, 11 uCi and 19 uCi
  • Available Radionuclides: Am-241, Ba-133, Co-57, Co-60, Cs-137, Eu-152, Na-22, Y-88

 

Kits Available

EGS A sources are also available in kits containing 9 sources of 0.11μCi (4kBq),1.1μCi (40kBq), 11μCi (400kBq), 19μCi (700kBq) : Am-241, Co-57, Co-60, Cr-51, Cs-137, Mn-54, Na-22, Sr-85, Y-88. Other activities are available on request.
